The Community Pact

• Guard the peace. No hostility, no aggression, and no modern politics.
• Keep it human. No ads, no spam, and no drop-shipped modern products dressed up as vintage.
• Share the joy. Trade fairly, list honestly, and tell real stories.

Posts that break the pact can be removed, and accounts that keep breaking it can be paused or closed. Anyone can report a post; moderators review reports.

Your posts

You own what you post. By posting, you let backintheday show it on the site. Only post things you have the right to share, and nothing illegal, hateful, or sexual.

Trades and sales

The Trading Post only connects people. backintheday doesn't handle money, take a cut, or check items. Conversations, meetups, payments and trades that happen off the site are between you and the other person, at your own risk.

Movies, music and other media

Videos and songs play from their official sources (YouTube, Apple Music). Movie, TV and game information comes from TMDB and IGDB, and photos are credited on each card. backintheday doesn't host or sell copyrighted movies or music.

Age

You need to be 13 or older to make an account.

No guarantees

backintheday is a free hobby project, provided as-is. It may change, have bugs, or go offline, and we're not liable for losses from using it.
